Hi kids!
Welcome to my new blog! In September, I will be leaving on an 11-month missions trip to 11 different countries (11 in 11...get it?) The trip is called The World Race. I'll be traveling with a squad of 50 other young adults. We will be going to Africa (Uganda, Rwanda, and Ethiopia), Asia (India, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, and Malaysia), and Central America (Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Honduras)!
Since I'm a teacher, I wanted to create a blog where students, especially all of you at Wyalusing Elementary, can follow me around the world! This blog will be educational (and fun)! You'll see pictures and learn more about the people, places, problems, and beauty of 11 countries all over the world! I also have another blog about the trip where I will be posting more about my thoughts, feelings, and spiritual journey. That blog can be found here. This blog, again, will be more student-friendly and educational in nature.
So kids, check back in mid-July to read about my training camp, and come back in September to learn more about the first country on my tour: Uganda!
